The U.S. National Park Service at Fort Matanzas in St. Augustine provides Ferry Service for Tourists to view civil war monuments. They required an upgrade to their dispensing system that could account for unpredictable and variable tidal water levels.
After a consultation, Allied Environmental Solutions provided a customized turnkey solution that incorporated over 300 feet of flexible double-walled piping installed on a floating dock to allow for the fluctuating water levels. Allied's scope of services for the USNP included procurement, permitting, technical drawings, installation and system start-up. The completed system required a 500 gallon ConVault tank with a 0.75 HP submersible pump, marine fueling dispenser, concrete foundation pad, venting, signage and accessories including hurricane hold-down cables. The Stainless steel marina Cabinet included a 75 foot hose reel with electric rewind and was mounted on a stainless steel containment pan, providing added protection due to environmental issues associated with being on a waterway.
Allied's GSA contract (GS07F-0045L) allowed the USNP to get the best system for their needs, quickly, efficiently and within budget...and pleasant for the tourist to look at.
